Precious Plastic Bangkok x RecyGlo

Precious Plastic Bangkok is proud to be part of Project Closed Loop, an initiative led by RecyGlo under the Empowering Youths Across ASEAN (eYAA) program. The project promotes better plastic waste management and the Circular Economy within schools.

The initiative aims to support public schools, local businesses, and communities across Bangkok by improving plastic waste separation and recycling practices.

As part of the project, the PPB team has had the opportunity to deliver plastic upcycling workshops for teachers and students at seven public schools:
Phaya Thai School
Wat Ratchanatdaram School
Matthayom Wat Benchamabophit School
Matthayom Wat That Thong School
Wat Bang Na Nai School
Triam Udom Suksa School
Wat Bang Pho Omawas School

In addition, PPB has installed collection points for HDPE (No.2) plastics at participating schools. The collected plastics will be recycled and upcycled into new products, which will then be returned to the participating schools.

The recycled products will be delivered to a total of 10 schools—the seven schools participating in the workshops, along with three additional schools—demonstrating how properly sorted plastic waste can be transformed into valuable new products and kept in circulation through a circular economy.
