What is the Global Plastics Treaty?

It’s an international agreement currently being negotiated to tackle plastic pollution worldwide. The treaty aims to reduce unnecessary plastic production, control single-use plastic consumption, and ensure sustainable plastic waste management globally. This is a critical moment for countries to work together to create global rules that address plastic pollution at its root.
